I first read this on the 5th April 2021.

This is the third book in the "Themis Files" series.

Rose, Eva and Vincent carry on brave the fight to prevent the robots being the cause of humanity's destruction. It's not just aliens intent on killing humans, it's humanity's own hysterical murderous insanity.

I was becoming fatigued reading this series of three novels, even with forcing myself to read a entirely different book between each. There was nothing riveting about the plot; the alien planet civilization felt entirely unlikely, and I found it all a bit melodramatic. The Russian interrogator was both unlikely and melodramatic.

That said, I did read it through to the end and somewhat enjoyed it. It is far less good than the first two books but if you've read those two then of course you must read this.

Loaded on the 3rd May 2021.
